I don’t have anything clever or in depth to say other than I enjoyed this and I’m grateful that Arsenal fans have this type of coverage of the women’s game. So thank you to you and Andrew for your commitment to it!

Hi Tim, I always had a passing interest in the women’s team because they were ‘The Arsenal’ but knew very little about the manager, players or tactics, and literally nothing about the competition. It is so much more enjoyable now, and although I am far from expert am now all in. Thanks for helping to make it happen and so rewarding

I always followed the Arsenal women's teams results with a passing interest. Over the years due to the quality of your writing and knowledge of the game I have found myself much more informed and developing much more of an attachment to the team. Which is great in the sense of the enjoyment I take from their games but not so great in that defeats or even draws now really mean something too. Over the years following the men's team, I have had moments where I ask 'Why do I do this to myself?'. And 'if I knew this when I was younger would I still choose to follow the team?'(Of course I would). But I've let it happen all over again. All of which is a really rambling way of saying thank you to yourself and Arseblog for all your coverage. The indepth and inciteful way you review the women's game, is really fantastic and has added so much to my understanding of it. The podcasts over the past few years have been a great addition. I really look forward to what's to come in 2024! Keep up the great work.

Way before I was provided the means to actually watch the team play regularly from far away, my following the women's side was kickstarted by reading your coverage on Arseblog News a decade ago and maintained ever since. So for whatever that's worth, Tim, I am thankful.

Speaking as a non-Arsenal fan, I can only say the work you lot put in here makes me jealous for my club. I wish we had coverage like this.

What a journey. I used to run a local football team, and would write match reports for the local press. I got to know the paper's sports editor and managed ro increase coverage when the paper had few competing stories. It was hard work, and there are only so many ways of describing a goal! I salute that you have managed to do so much more on a larger canvas.

It is always fascinating to know how something like this started out, and should be an inspiration for any young writers and journalists out there wondering how far their passions could take them. I am personally very grateful for all your coverage - and Arseblog's support for it - over the years cos it was the reason I started watching the games on TV, then going to Meadow Park, then travelling away, and now I can't remember what life was like before all that. I'm sure there are hundreds of others with similar stories, so thank you for being the person to make all those stories happen. You were our gateway to this particular drug, and for better or worse, we are all addicted now!

Another great read Tim, thank you. In fairness though, I couldn’t think of a more fancentric column than yours. You are the fan we all refer too when wanting Arsenal Women news! Happy Christmas and a great New Year to you and yours

Thanks for the background, it was insightful. Tim, I am very proud and thankful to have you as "our" correspondent because I know that we get coverage other teams envy.

Love a park behind the curtain of how things got started and evolved to the current point. Your (and Arseblog’s coverage generally) of the women’s team has greatly accelerated my interest in the team and I’m very grateful for that!

All of the previous comments sum up what a great job you, Tim (and wider Arseblog) do. It's great to read honest appraisals written for, but importantly by Arsenal fans, which cover ALL aspects of the club.

Please keep up the good work and Best Wishes for 2024.

It's always fascinating to read your side of the story so to speak. As a long time fan of the women's game, it's good to hear the interviews and the progression of the game from those early days when we went together. I know first hand your dedication to getting a wider audience for the game, and you have certainly done that. It's been some years since uou divulged you "ultimate dream" to travel the world reporting and writing about Arsenal and to be as memorable as Nick Hornby. Well done! I belive you may have reached that pinnacle with we devoted club members. The awards Arseblog has won this year shows your stature in this field. Keep turning up, we appreciate it.

Hi Tim, I have only started following the women’s team for around a year now, and I always look forward to all of your podcast and writings in this space. It offers a wealth of knowledge that I can educate and involve myself in. I love your presentation style, both audio and video, and cannot wait to schedule regular listening sessions of the Arseblog Women’s podcast too, in addition to the men’s!
